Open Enrollment for 2018 benefit elections begins at 12:01 a.m. EST on October 1, 2017 and ends at 11:59 p.m. EST on October 15, 2017
Welcome to AU Medical Center’s 2018 Annual Open Enrollment.  Whether you’re just starting your career or you’ve been with us for years, the information provided on this page will help you become a more informed “benefits consumer” and enhance your understanding of the enrollment process.   We encourage you to read through your enrollment materials carefully to understand your options and responsibilities before making any benefit decisions.

Active Enrollment
The AU Medical Center Open Enrollment is an Active Enrollment which means you must complete the online process.
This gives you the opportunity to:
ü  Declare tobacco user or non-user status
ü  Enroll or change current insurance coverage
ü  Add or remove dependents
ü  Verify dependent information such as birth dates and Social Security Numbers
ü  Enroll in and elect contribution amounts for Health Savings Accounts (HSA, FSA, DCFSA)
ü  Complete the Spousal Surcharge Attestation
 Please note changes made during open enrollment will be effective
January 1, 2018 and continue through December 31, 2018.
 Default Coverage
If you do not make benefit elections during Open Enrollment, or your new hire enrollment period, you will be assigned default coverages. You will pay for this coverage through payroll deductions.
